We're having another "Ladies Day" shoot on Saturday, Sept. 17th, as part of our community outreach education events.  Please invite your wives, daughters and any lady friends who want to learn how to shoot.  They will learn gun safety and practice pistol, rifle, and trap shooting.  We supply the guns and ammo.  A $10 fee will cover our costs, and it includes a light lunch.  Start time is 9am.  Contact Greg Gubitosi, tacomatrk@aol.com

Past WLOPA events:

Annual Fundraiser - Breast Cancer / WLOPA Relief Fund
On August 6, 2016, we held a fundraiser dinner to raise money for Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and the WLOPA Local Relief Fund.  Many people and many companies donated.  Approximately 125 people attended - - a great turnout.  The food was prepared by members, and many people volunteered to make this event a great success.  Thanks to Frank Noble for coordinating everything.

The Annual NRA Dinner was held on March 18, 2016 at the Aqua Turf in Plantsville. WLOPA had three tables of supporters.

We held our Christmas Party on Dec. 4th and it was very well attended and all had a good time enjoying friendships and great food.  Thanks to all who helped with the Christmas Party and also the Handicap Christmas Party the following week, Sat. Dec. 12th.  Santa was there and entertained everyone.  A special thank you to Spartan II Restaurant in Plantsville who donated their time and food for the Party.  All the children and their family enjoyed the day.  Also, thanks to the many who volunteered their time to make this day fun for all.
