Membership

WLOPA is a private shooting club and we encourage new members. If you love to shoot handguns, rifles, trap, skeet, or hunt, then our club is for you.

Persons wishing to join WLOPA must be sponsored by a current WLOPA member, one who is in good standing, and who has passed their one year probation period. Complete the membership application (available in person at the club) and be sure to include your sponsor's name on the application. Attach a check for the type of membership you are applying for, and drop the completed application off at the club on the weekends.

New members are interviewed by the Board in advance and then voted in by our membership at our monthly meetings which occur on the first Friday of every month (except July and December).

Work 10 Hours
We require all new members to work 10 hours during their first year of membership. There is always something that needs to be done or help needed for special events. Your work time helps you meet and socialize with others and keeps our facilities and programs going.
